Progress Summer 2026
Summer 2026 was a busy one at Highwoods View and we are pleased to share the below aerial photo showing our progress.
61 plots are now in build, with the flats in Blocks 1 & 2 part of this, with the superstructure of Block 1 now finished. Sequence 2 (shown on the below sequence plan and following photo) was completed externally, with this area now being open to the public. Part of our work over the summer period also included some ecological works under licence.
We are also pleased to advise that the pumping station is now complete and has been commissioned.
Autumn/Winter 2026 - programme of works
In the last part of this year and into early 2027 we will welcome our first residents and hand over the majority of the affordable homes.
We will also look to open the central area of open space, whilst also focussing on further ecological works, undertaking some piling and putting the drainage, services and roads in in the area covered by sequence 7 (see sequence plan above).
Monthly resident meeting
Each month we welcome our immediate neighbours to Highwoods View to meet with the construction team. This is an opportunity for us to update people on what is happening on site, whilst also answering any questions they may have and listen to feedback.

Award nominations
We are pleased to announce that Highwood's View has been nominated for 2 industry awards - an NHBC Pride in the Job award and a HBF Health & Safety award. We will keep you posted on how we get on!
